J.K. Venkatamuni Shetty, a visionary farmer and entrepreneur, started Sri Venkhateswara Rice Mills with one goal — to provide the cleanest, most nutritious rice to families across the region. Armed with deep knowledge of paddy cultivation and a passion for quality, he built a mill that quickly became the most trusted name in the area.

The second generation carried that same passion forward — investing in better machinery, stronger farmer relationships, and wider distribution. What was once a local mill began supplying hotels, traders, and retailers across multiple districts. Today, the third generation leads Sri Venkhateswara Rice Mills into a new era — with automated processing, Z+ Series Bühler Sortex technology, and a daily capacity of 75 tons. The tools have changed.
